This piece is made entirely of paper - contractor's paper, paper doilies, tissue paper, and spitballs (minus the spit). The "leather" straps are strips of contractor's paper, folded, ran through the sewing machine, and painted. The "hammered metal" look of the bodice was achieved by painting and overlapping paper doilies.
